Programming For Beginners

Ages 9-12

This is an introductory programming course for children - those who come into the programming field for the first time. During the course, children build computer games, and are thus exposed to this fascinating world and familiar with basic programming elements that are the gateway to the programming world. Among other things, the children will learn about variables, loops, objects and events.

Our team focuses to make children familiar with basic programming elements that act as a gateway for the beginners to the programming world. Beside this, the children will learn about variables, loops, objects and events in this course. We have instructors who will help you with everything from scratch.

Syllabus

Approximately 8 Month Course (Weekly 90 Minutes Class)

Introduction to App Inventor

Get to know the App Inventor environment, and it’s basic tools.

Projects for example:

  • Calculator
  • Memory Game
  • T.Rex

Games and animations

Get to know how to make games and animations in App Inventor.

Projects for example:

  • Pong
  • Flappy Bird
  • Asteroids

Complex application and algorithms

Get to know how to design a complex application, and introduction to algorithms.

Projects for example:

  • Tic Tac Toe
  • Maze
  • Sudoku
